Uploading Files and Found Files to a CloseOut Item

Found Files for a CloseOut Item
Tip! If you’ve been uploading your files to BuildFlow, our AI will automatically locate the files associated with the item in CloseOut. In case our AI doesn’t find them, but you’ve uploaded the files to BuildFlow, you can use the ‘Found File’ feature to navigate to the folder and input the files. This way, you avoid any double entry!
1. To upload or find files for a specific item, simply click on the corresponding item.
2. Click the "Found Files" button. When our AI locates files associated with the specific item in BuildFlow, this button will light up green.
3. This will bring you to the folder and files our AI has found. By clicking the name of the folder you will be able to view and select the files you want to add to the item. If you wish to add the whole folder please check the box next to the folder.
4. Click the checkbox next to a file name if you want to select all files within the viewer, or you can choose specific files by clicking the checkbox next to each individual file.
5. If you click the file name it will pop open in the viewer in the right side.
6. Click "Add to Closeout Item and Advance Workflow → Ready For Review" If you have all the files you need in this item and are ready to advance the workflow.
7. Click "Add to Closeout Item → In Progress" if you do not have all the files you need but want to add files to an item but NOT advance the workflow.
8. Click "Submit" when you are done adding your remark, if it is necessary for that item.
Uploading to an CloseOut Item
Alert! Please be considerate and avoid uploading excessively large files or those with numerous items, as they can be difficult to view, download and navigate. Instead, break the content into smaller, more manageable files before uploading. This consideration is greatly appreciated.
9. Click the CloseOut item you want to upload to.
10. Click "Upload Files"
11. Click "browse files" to select the files off your hard drive.
12. Click "Add to Closeout Item and Advance Workflow → Ready For Review" If you have all the files you need in this item and are ready to advance the workflow.
13. Click "Add to Closeout Item → In Progress" if you do not have all the files you need but want to add files to an item but NOT advance the workflow.
14. Click "Submit"
